Provided design and permitting services for replacement of the existing 6” cast iron force main connecting the Stonehaven SPS facility to the Freetown SPS 16” force main in Solley Road through a pipe bursting installation method. County has made emergency repairs on several leaks and breaks in recent years that were caused by failed joints and corrosion of the pipeline; combined with this force main being functionally obsolete for not meeting the anticipated 2035 design flows. Replacement and upsizing with an 8” HDPE force main was needed.
