Completed Highway Noise Analysis Technical Report to VDOT Standard for the City of Suffolk. As part of the intersection capacity improvement project to US Route 17 (Bridge Road) and Route 626 (Shoulders Hill Road), conducted noise field measurements for validation of existing conditions. Developed the FHWA TNM to evaluate existing and proposed conditions. Identified noise impacts and developed mitigation measures working with the design team. Coordinated with the impacted property owners to present mitigation options and if a barrier was desired.
