Bicycle and pedestrian (bike/ped) facilities are key components of today’s transportation system. At times these are stand-alone projects that support sustainability and livable communities. In other cases, these facilities are incorporated into larger transportation projects (in road or independent alignment) and ensure that safety and mobility for bicyclists and pedestrians are served equally with other users.
Our design professionals work with clients to achieve ADA compliance. Studies are conducted and bicycle and pedestrian solutions are designed for intersection upgrades, corridor improvements and area-wide networks. Deficiencies are identified and develop the appropriate measures to provide continuous unobstructed bike/ped accessibility is developed.
